This probably WON’T come up in Sunday School but it should!

If you’re like me then you probably had a whole lot of young women lessons telling you that sex was a big, fat “no”. Over years of lessons I got the message loud and clear: sex = bad. 

Which is why we definitely SHOULD teach our youth what Paul teaches in Ephesians 5:31 that after marriage “they two shall be one flesh.” 

In fact President Spencer W. Kimball said that “The Bible celebrates sex and its proper use, presenting it as God-created, God-ordained, God-blessed.” (Ensign, May, 1974, pp. 7-8)

So is sex a big fat “no”? Definitely not. It’s a big fat “yes” inside marriage, and a big fat “wait for the right time” before marriage!
