Elder Holland quoted C.S. Lewis in his talk. After Neal A. Maxwell, Elder Holland has quoted C.S. Lewis more than any other apostle– even though C.S. Lewis was not a member and really didn’t like that the Church prohibits drinking alcohol. (Source)

Sometimes it can feel like General Conference covers a million different topics. But Elder Holland told us that every single speaker says– in some way– the exact same thing: come to Christ with your whole heart.
3. Something you need to know from Elder Holland
Elder Holland talked about how it can feel overwhelming trying to come to Christ when we know how flawed we are. But he reminded us that God is incredibly good at forgiving sins we have repented of. After all, He has a lot of practice!
